Issac's new EP Earth Below Us is out on Beatport today.
Part of Issac's magic comes from his production skills no doubt, but there's something else. It's called good taste, and it's the kind of thing that separates great producers from the crowd. You'll hear it in everything Issac touches, including these 3 brand new original tracks. "Earth Below Us" is a massive and layered progressive masterpiece reminiscent of the collaborative productions of John Digweed & Nick Muir. "Somebody" builds and builds into a thick atmospheric apex, and "Don't Ask Her" tracks back to deeper house territory, yet still retains the brooding complexity that ties the whole release together.
DJ/Producer Issac was born in Mexico City, and started his DJ career a the age of 17. Right away he began sharing the decks with some of the best Mexican DJs. In 2004 he became a part time resident of New York City and began producing. Over the years, Issac has released a steady stream of music on We Are Here Records, Stripped Recordings, Loöq Records and his own label, Mineral. Issac's music has long been supported by Sasha, John Digweed, Jondi & Spesh, Tini Tun, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Charlie May to name just a few.
