The Loöq Records pipeline is chock full of quality releases that we can't wait to share with you this summer. First up is a downtempo EP from Methodrone (DJ Kramer and Scott Gockerman). "Where Is The New World" is a follow-up to their debut release "Nonlinear Reality" (also on Loöq). The Methodrone sound is deeply layered and complex, yet also groove-oriented with infectious melodies. Their expansive sound palate is reminiscent of Breeder, Voyager, the productions of Charlie May, and Sasha’s Airdrawndagger. Look for "Where Is The New World" June 8th on Loöq.
We also have a new single "Space Pimp" from Momu. Raise your hands if you love chunky electro funk, sexy robot voices, and cheeky fun because, as it turns out, Momu does too. This release also features some serious remixes from Huggie, Methodrone, and Rob Nutek all of whom have been turning up the heat of late. Next up is a two-track release from Dutch producer Alan Live. Alan's smooth, impeccably-produced techno sound grabbed us the second we heard it. Boom -- signed. That's coming out July 20th. Towards the end of the summer we'll introduce Kleidosty (a new ambient artist), a Momu EP with material from their upcoming album "Side of Life", and a new single from label founders Jondi & Spesh called "Howl" (from the Ginsberg poem). There are also singles from Dirtyhertz, Thee-O, Metadeko, and RND() in the works. Keep listening to the good stuff!
